Scholarship Fund

By the age of 17, most high school students are visiting colleges and making plans for the future. Our youth are no different; however unlike their peers who have the support of their biological parents, foster youth must often times forgo an education because of the lack of finances & support.

Foster youth who age out of the foster care system face a number of unique issues. To help with a successful transition, we focus on the skills needed to secure housing, employment, education and training. The Bair Foundation recently created The Paul Smith Memorial Fund(Independent Living), to assist The Bair Foundation youth who are aging out of the foster care system.
